In memory of Lily Pulitzer, I thought I would post about one of the women who helped put her on the map, Jackie Kennedy. I have always loved Jackie (first name basis) ever since I was a little girl. I am sure my mom’s adoration had something to do with it, but I specifically remember buying the book Just Jackie when I was around 13 years old, and I don’t think I got a quarter of the way through it, before deciding it was probably a bit too mature for me. But what I did continue to flip through, were the photos of Jackie, donning her Lily Pulitzer duds and looking effortlessly chic in any occasion. While I think my style tends to be a bit all over the place at times, I have always thought of Jackie Kennedy as a fashion icon of mine.
